About Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale () is a coastal city located in the U.S. state of Florida, 30 miles (48 km) north of Miami along the Atlantic Ocean. It is the county seat of and largest city in Broward County with a population of 182,760 at the 2020 census, making it the tenth largest city in Florida. After Miami, Fort Lauderdale is the second principal city (as defined by the U.S. government) in the Miami metropolitan area, which had a population of 6,166,488 in 2019.Built in 1838 and first incorporated in 1911, Fort Lauderdale is named after a series of forts built by the United States during the Second Seminole War. The forts took their name from Major William Lauderdale (1782–1838), younger brother of Lieutenant Colonel James Lauderdale. Development of the city did not begin until 50 years after the forts were abandoned at the end of the conflict.

I had Fort Lauderadale Tree Service come out to my place in North Lauderdale. We had a large oak tree that was overgrown and needed some large limbs removed and a general thinning. We got 3 quotes, and theirs was the most reasonable. We checked license and insurance and everything was good. We had to get a permit because of the size of the tree, and they were very helpful with that. Once the permit was approved, they promptly started work. They had a large bucket truck which made us feel a lot safer than having someone climbing the tree or on ladders to do the work. They removed one limb at a time, and thinned the tree so that it wouldn't be such a hazard in strong winds. We were very happy with the final result. Our oak tree looked good once again and we were no longer worried about the overgrown limbs snapping and falling on our roof. I didn't take this photo until a month after they had been, but it gives you an idea. They are a professional tree service company with good quality gear. Unlike some of the other fly by night companies you see around here. We're very happy with the work done, and defintely recommend them to others in the area.
